New Edition of Multi-field Technical, Terminological Dictionary

Abstract

1. Nowadays it is difficult to coin and establish technical terms of any fields. The aim of this new edition is to solve such problems.
2. Unified, general technical terminology of eighteen fields was collected and it will be a guide for working on sectoral dictionaries.
3. Joint work of field specialists and linguists will be restarted to avoid terminological gaudiness.
4. Aidless terms will be determined together with technical field specialists and also a number of new concepts will be discussed and accordant terms will be found at the meetings.
5. The work will be based on linguistic researches.
6. The fact, that the dictionary will be trilingual with the electronic version on the internet consisting of 80 000 general terms and terminological expressions, will be an innovation.
