About the Journal

“Terminology Issues” is a Georgian peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of Translation Dictionaries and Scientific Dictionaries of the TSU Arnold Chikobava Institute of Linguistics since 2014. On the basis of the rich terminological heritage, the unique Georgian terminology database - the Georgian Termbank - was founded in 2014. The Department of Translation, Dictionaries and Scholarly Dictionaries at TSU Arnold Chikobava Institute of Linguistics is the oldest terminology center in Georgia. On the one hand, the center continues traditional Georgian terminology work, both practical and theoretical, and, on the other hand, it has close relations with European terminology societies.
