Production of work on legal Latin terminology is important not only for students and specialists studying law but also generally for people interested in legal issues. Roman law includes almost perfect model of classification, which consists of general part of legal forms. Though, along with development of civilization during the centuries and different changes, legal forms have been changed but mainly, roman classification has still preserved its importance. Therefore, legal terminology of national and international law of modern European countries have source from forms and concepts of Roman law. Nowadays, it is considered impossible to become a high professional in law without deep knowledge of basics of Roman law. Those specialists and students, who are interested in these issues have problems concerning with writing and translation of legal terms and phraseological forms. It is important to have knowledge as far as of law and of Latin, as a language of legal terms for preventing mistakes in translation of Latin legal terms. At present we do not have any work which will completely satisfy interests of legal community. Today we have some reference type of works, but because of small amount and factual or terminological mistakes, they do not satisfy requirements of those students and specialists, who have to use legal terms during their studying or researches. Therefore, it will be somehow novelty in Georgian scholarship to create academic type of work with exquisite language and terms, which will include not only translation of terms, definition and Georgian equivalents, but also information about the source, documentation of primary introduction of the term in Georgian legislative space and approving of certain cases of usage of Latin terms in Georgian legal acts. The article is dedicated to the ways of solving and analyzing the problems, arisen during the project ("Latin legal terms") regarding the fundamental researches, funded by Shota Rustaveli National Foundation in 2011.
