Through its centuries-old history the Turkish language experienced the strong influence of Eastern and Western languages with different systems. It can be said that in the Turkish lexical fund the Ottoman Empire's relations with other countries was clearly reflected. The adopted vocabulary includes Arabic, Persian, Greek, Italian, French, German, English and other adopted words. Among them the Arab and Persian lexical - grammatical elements have a special place. The establishment of the Arabic - Persian vocabulary is directly linked to the Turkish Islamization. Together with Islam, the Arabic alphabet and the Arabic language, as a language of religion, law, science, education, medicine, financial - economic fields, administration, entered the Turkish culture. It resulted in the establishment of the terminology of these fields.
In XX century and in the end of XIX century, the important changes in the socio - economic, political and cultural life of the Turkish society led to the active processes in the modern Turkish. As a result, anglicisms inflooded in the newest language (in its various functional styles).
