The current epoch of technical or commercial development is
characterized by rapid changes. The novelty brings new concepts and terms
the incorporation and establishment of which into the native language have
become the main challenge for modern terminology.

We believe that the creation of a unified electronic database is of vital importance for the development of Georgian terminology because we
think that the introduction to the results of separate studies and using them
are no less important than the conducted work. The terminological databases will contribute to showing the history of term development, the creation of new terms based on the latter and the coordinated work of terminologists.

A number of terminological databases exist in the modern world that are available for all interested people. These databases enable us to find and use the terminological data of a particular nation or a language and develop
our own one.

The paper deals with one of the major and popular terminological databases called Trados. We discuss the services that are offered by this program. At the same time, we will speak about the flaws that were not taken into account during the creation of this terminological database and
that makes it difficult to work on the terminology.
